Richard III (1483-85), Groat, type 2b, London, 3.00g, m.m. boar's head 2, crowned bust facing, rev. long cross and pellets (Winstanley 8; Stewartby pp. 434, IIb; N.1679; S.2156), a superbly full flan, the portrait and iconic mintmark well-struck up, a most pleasing coin for type, almost extremely fine for issue, very rare thus
