William I (1066-87), Penny, Worcester, Wiginc, 1.23g, + rillemvs re, crowned bust left, sceptre before, a pellet above, rev. + þiginc on þihre, cross fleury (N.839; BMC I; S.1250), largely imperceptible roughness to edge between 2 and 5 o'clock, otherwise toned, a pleasing good very fine, only three moneyers known for Worcester for this type, this the sole recorded example for Wiginc
