B.E.M. London Gazette 31 July 1931:
'For services rendered in connection with the operations on the North-West Frontier of India between 23rd April and 12th September, 1930.'
Wilson Bainbridge served as a regular airman, fitter and part-time air gunner on the North-West Frontier, being at that time a Leading Aircraftman. Promoted Warrant Officer on 1 February 1942, he was mentioned in despatches (London Gazette 17 September 1943, refers), and retired to pension in 1947; sold with copied recommendation and research.
