Wallis Thomas Rowe served with the 2/5th Battalion, London Regiment which was formed in September 1914 and attached to 174th Brigade, 58th (London) Division. The Battalion landed in France on 25 January 1917 and took part in the fighting on the Hindenburg Line and at the Third Battle of Ypres, before being disbanded at Moreuil on 6 February 1918. Rowe subsequently transferred to the Rifle Brigade, his place of residence noted as Brixton, London; sold with copied MIC.
