Alfred Albert Mound was born on 28 February 1893 and had served as a Gunner with 260 Trench Mortar Battery before being commissioned 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force. Mound claimed his medals in 1922 giving his address as 3 Victoria Place, Cannon Street, Colchester and died there in 1980; sold with copied MIC.
