George Henry Lindsay was commissioned Temporary Sub- Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve on 17 March 1916, undertaking courses in coding and decoding at H.M.S. Pembroke. He served aboard H.M.S. Moldavia from 13 May 1916, transferring to the Signal Section of H.M.S. President on 18 March 1918. He was discharged on 4 February 1919, retiring to 66 Maidstone Road, Chatham. This pair represents his sole entitlement.
