Victory Medal 1914-19 (28931 A. C. Sjt. A. E. Allott. M.G.C.; F.4456 F. G. Thomas. Act. A.M.1. R.N.A.S.), good very fine (2)

Arthur Bennett Allott was born in 1882 at Elsecar, Yorkshire and served with the Machine Gun Corps during the Great War. Married at Ripon in December 1925, he died at Kirkby Malzeard in 1973; sold with copied research including a photograph of the recipient.

Frederick George Thomas was born at Kentish Town, London on 17 January 1897 and enlisted on 4 May 1915. Having served at Crystal Palace he saw action in France before war's end.
