Theobald Mathew M.B. appointed Assistant Surgeon 4 August 1855 in the Bengal Medical Establishment, served in the Mutiny campaign with the 2nd Troop, 2nd Brigade, Bengal Horse Artillery. Surgeon 4 August 1868, Brigade Surgeon 27 November 1879 and died in Bruges on 22 March 1887.
