Baltic 1854-55, unnamed as issued, with original silk riband, nearly extremely fine
Andrew Bannatyne was born on 17 March 1838, the second son of Andrew Bannatyne. He was present as a Naval Cadet aboard H.M.S. Cornwallis in the Baltic and was commissioned Lieutenant in the 83rd Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers (Glasgow) on 2 May 1860. Bannatyne died in 1890 at Hamilton, Lanarkshire.
