Crimea 1854-56, 4 clasps, Alma, Balaklava, Inkermann, Sebastopol (Thos. Chalmers. Scots Fusr. Gds.), officially impressed naming, the fourth clasp affixed with wire, scratches to obverse and edge bruising, nearly very fine

Thomas Chalmers was killed in action at the battle of Inkermann on 5 November 1854, having served with the Regiment for less than a year.
