Miniature sheet with the inscription
On 29 August 1944 it begun the production of the "Marianne of Dulac" postage stamps by the Thomas De La Rue printer in London. Various essays were executed including the 2fr.40c. block of four on gummed paper. These blocks were typographically printed and subsequently overprinted with the inscription of the Liberation of Paris.
