1c. black on Prussian blue, an outstanding example from the bottom of the sheet, boasting a good colour, infrequently good centring for this stamp, original gum and large sheet margin. This copy, even though being presented after the previous exceptional lot -most probably the finest in existence- to which it may be compared, must be ranged as an outstanding example of this rare and popular stamp; as a matter of fact, Calves states in his certificate this stamp possesses "centrage et nuance superbes".
