1fr. vivid carmine, sharp impression and deep rich colour making a wonderful association for a gorgeous appearance, margins varying from ample to huge showing part of adjoining adhesive at left, neatly tied by "DS2" dotted grid with matching Paris c.d.s. at left on 2 June 1854 cover to Berlin, Prussia, carried at double rate (denoted by manuscript "2" at left), with German "Ausgabe" c.d.s. on reverse.
