10c. bistre-jaune, a very fresh pair with margin a bit close at one point at lower right, otherwise good to very large margins, used on 11 August 1853 large cover from Clermont Ferrand to Aigueperse, tied by petit chiffres "886" grids with matching c.d.s. at right and arrival on back; due to its large size, the cover was folded at right and base for presentation purposes, and thus is exhibited in this catalogue, hiding the dispatch c.d.s. A very fine and rare franking to pay the double rate within the same postal district. Spink Maury 9a, €3,000. Photo
