40c. vivid orange, unusually refulgent colour surrounded by very large margins including neighbouring frame lines at base and left, on single weight cover to Carouge, Switzerland, tied by petit chiffres "2160" grid with matching "Morez-du-Jura/6 Avril 54" c.d.s., struck in transit at Geneva on reverse; a very fine example of the 40 cents rate to Switzerland.
