1899 (22 July) unfranked "On Her Majesty's Service" envelope (222x96mm) with Governor of Straits Settlements seal printed in blue on flap, from J.A. Swettenham, Colonial Secretary, Straits Settlements, used to Perth, Western Australia, with Singapore c.d.s. on front, and Albany (16.8) and Travelling P.O. GSR (16.8) datestamps on reverse. After arriving it was taken by mail train via Great Southern Railway (GSR) service from Albury to Perth. Unrecorded and thus rare. Photo
