The colour of the 3c. international card in blue had, due to UPU regulations, to be changed to red and a supply was ordered in January 1894. 6100 of the single card and 1030 reply cards were invoiced on 14 February. It is not known when these were first placed on sale

1898 (21 Apr.) ) 3c. carmine card to Germany, cancelled by "kwala lumpur" c.d.s. (D2), showing another better strike alongside, with Penang transit (22.4) and arrival (16.5) datestamps
