Collection on leaves, the mint comprising ½d. lilac (5 and three trials in buff or violet cancelled in 1899), ½d. red (34 with a block of fifteen), ½d. green (18 with a block of six), 1d. green (27 with a corner block of fifteen), 1d. brown (44 with blocks of six and nine), 1d. red (10), 1d. olive (5), 1½d. green (18 with blocks of four and six, and one with manuscript "Proof"), 1½d. red on yellow (18 with two blocks of four, and a single in an extraordinarily rich colour), 2d. (26 with three blocks of four and two experimental trials in red and in blue-green dated in 1899), 2½d. red on yellow (10), 2½d. blue (14 with a block of four), 3d. slate-green (16 with a pair and a block of four), 4d. red (36 with blocks of four and nine), 5d. (13, one noted as without watermark), 6d. (17), 9d. apple-green (10 with a strip of three), 9d. red (24 with two blocks of four), 1/- (19 with a pair), 1/6d. blue (8) and 1/6d. orange (11); the used represented throughout; a few small faults in places though generally good to fine
