(5) and Laureated 4d. carmine strip of three, all cancelled "406" and showing London Paid datestamp (18.12) and oval-framed "pd" both in red, the reverse with despatch (superb), Maryborough, Melbourne and indistinct Danish transit datestamps. An outstanding franking illustrated on the dust jacket of "Numeral Cancellations of Victoria" by Hugh Freeman and Geoff White. Photo
