1883 envelope from Deloraine "via Brindisi" to Switzerland, bearing Platypus 6d. in combination with Sideface 1d. and 2d. cancelled "25" and with part despatch datestamp alongside, carried on the Indus to Colombo, then Nizam to Alexandria, where mail was delayed due to Egyptian cholera epidemic, and finally Mongolia to Venice where it was disinfected by gas through three 20mm. slits at the Lazaret office; flap damaged but most unusual, and 1895 envelope registered from Hobart to USA bearing Platypus 3d. and Keyplate 2d. sharing duplex.
