The collection, very well written up (in French) on pages, including 1724 entire letter to Marseille with "de la rochelle" on arrival, 1749 entire letter to Nimes endorsed "delaflotte", 1764 entire letter to Marseilles endorsed "Martinique", 1766 and 1773 entire letter to Marseilles with Bordeaux flueron, Second British Occupation 1899 entire to London with "fort royal/jul 15 800!, Third British Occupation with 1810 entire to London with red Crown inspectors marking on the front and framed octagonal "martinique" on the reverse, France used in Martinique with 1849-52 25c. pair and 1f. all with good to large margins on front to Paris, 25c. vertical pair and 1f. (margins all round, 1f. creased), on entire letter to Nantes, incoming mail, sub Post Offices, Paquebots with Mexican Line octagonal "floride" on 1864 entire to St. Servan, "imp. eugenie" on 1865 entire to Marseille franked Eagle 10c., 40c., Military correspondence with 1876 entire franked 1871-76 5c. single and strip of four with octagonal "cor.d'arm.* fort de france" with error of year date 67 for 76, 1859 entire letter with superb Crowned Circle "paid/at/vera cruz", etc., chiefly good to fine with viewing highly recommended.
