1862 (26 June) opened-out envelope to Bayeux, bearing Eagle 10c. and 40c. pairs with mute lozenge of dots and pen-cross cancellations, marked "Par le Steamer francaise Vera Cruz", showing Fort de France c.d.s. and, on reverse, manuscript "Trintie Mque 26 Juin 62"; the adhesives with some fault and the envelope with spike hole.
