Hall variety 25, S.G. variety l
The inverted overprint was partially removed, an attempt having been made by the printer to erase it while the ink was still wet, after which the same sheet was turned round and the normal overprint then impressed (Hall p. 25). The inverted overprints occured both below and above the first overprint, which may easily be explained by the eight panes of the sheet being separately overprinted
