1788 (18 Feb.) six page partly printed Official letter (faults) on headed paper from Comte Dillon, Governor of Tobago, concerning the desertion of slaves by boat; and an undated document headed "République Française, Colonie de Tabago" from General Cesar Berthier, Captain General of Tobago, ordering the Sequin Battalion to take command of Fort Scarborough (during this period in 1790 French soldiers mutinied and burnt the Fort down. Troops from the garrison at Guadeloupe being sent to restore order). A fine historical lot
