1914 (17 Jan.) 5m. stationery envelope, uprated with 3m. and 5m, carried on the Ligue Nationale Aerienne Marc Poupre flight, addressed in Poupre's own handwriting to the President of the L.N.A., Antoine Bianchi, who sponsored the flight, and carried on the return leg from Khartoum to Cairo, the stamps cancelled on 17 January and with a fine strike of the large circular flight cachet in violet alongside the franking, arrival datestamp (21.1) on reverse; face panel with minor toning though an attractive example of this rare pioneer flight.
