1900 (July and Oct.) envelopes from members of the Rhodesian Regiment at Mafeking to England, one to Chichester and redirected to London franked at 2½d., countersigned by Lieut. Mackenzie, the other to Sydenham bearing 1d. and countersigned by H. Montagu of "B" Squadron, and (Sept.) Cape ½d. card, uprated with ½d., from C. King to his son in Gwanda and with Bulawayo datestamp on face, the contents include "I have been having some fighting and killed some Boers. They shot me in the leg... i had 2 horses killed. Our boy "Jack" got shot"; the first two with a few faults though an unusual trio
