1896-97 largely mint collection of the surcharges, all mounted and written in Afrikaans on Lindner pages, including 1896 "½d" on 3d. with some double overprints, 1896 "Halve/Penny." on 3d. range (281) with a good group mint multiples up to thirty, and varieties including mint pair with offset of surcharge and one (thinned) with overprint double, one inverted, 1897 "2½" on 3d. (20 with two mint blocks of four; also 1897 unissued 6d. blue mint blocks of four; condition a little mixed in places though of generally good to fine appearance and a wonderful lot for the specialist
