1/- deep green, cut square, touched on two sides, with "266" barred oval cancellation of Dunstable and with "toddington" u.d.c. alongside, on envelope endorsed "per "Indiana" May 26th 1853" to the Royal Observatory Cape Town, Cape of Good Hope; seal missing from the reverse but a fine letter to a scarce destination.
