Miri: 1944 (4 Apr.) unoverprinted Japan 2c. mounted warrior card addressed to Soerabaja, Java, uprated with 2c. green tied by Miri single ring Kanji c.d.s. with a good strike of the Miri censor handstamp; there is a vertical folding crease. An extremely rare and desirable card. Milo Rowell reported that only four of these unoverprinted cards exist, the others used in Brunei, Miri and Simanggang. Photo
