2c. on 8c. black and vermilion error "two cents" double and "two cents" omitted, in two vertical strips of five with the right sheet margin (corner fragment missing) from sheet "239", the example with surcharge double also shows the positional variety line through "B" (a unique combination), with full original gum. There are some hinge reinforcements in the margin and one stamp with black adherence on the reverse (which could be removed). A rare and dramatic example of these errors. Photo

This variety was discovered on one sheet in 1949. The lower setting of the surcharge was printed one row too high resulting in one row of ten surcharge double and one row without surcharge. These impressions on the right show closer registration
