1c. black and purple error overprint in black on 1910 (16 Feb.) Captain Binns printed envelope registered to Singapore with 2c. on 8c., 3c. and 8c. tied by Brunei c.d.s. in violet with a good strike of the boxed Registered handstamp in purple (Proud R1) and bearing, on the reverse, Labuan (18.2) and Singapore (28.2) c.d.s.; most of the flap is missing and there are some small imperfections at top. A good cover and late use of this stamp. This is thought to be the only examples used on a cover which was sent outside of Brunei. Photo
