1857-1962 comprehensive mint collection (350) on new Imperial album leaves, curated to an impressive level of completion, starting with 1857 imperforate ½d., 2d. and 1/9d. (part original gum with R.P.S. Certificate), an attractive array of engraved issued (35) with numerous combinations of perforation and watermark, surface printed issues including 8c. orange perf. 14x12½ fine mint with Sismondo Certificate, 1885 surcharges (36) including 10c. on 24c. and 30c. on 36c. surcharge inverted, then broadly complete from 1888-1962, missing only the Keyplate high values, also a small collection (complete as printed on pages) of Maldives. A super lot with a catalogue value well in excess of £16,000.
