(x) Arabian Gulf Currency Board, obverse hand painted essay for 25 riyals, ND (1960s), no serial numbers, dark green on multicoloured underprint, dhow at left, oil derrick and palm tree at top centre, value at each corner
(Pick unlisted), in PCGS holder, certified as genuine, a superb example of an entirely unknown banknote, for an issuing authority that never came to pass. This design bears a striking resemblance to the Qatar & Dubai Currency Board notes issued a few years later. Unique, important, and very attractive
