(x) Anglo-Scandinavian coinage (c.995-1020), Penny, 1.31g, 'Helmet' type with name of Aethelred II, London, Osulf, + aedel.red rex anglo, the ng ligate, helmeted and armoured bust left, rev. + os vlfm olvn dene, voided long cross over square with trefoil at each point (N.775; S.1152), wavy flan, several peck marks, about very fine, listed with the Anglo-Scaninavians (slightly untidy lettering), but in the cataloguer's opinion quite possibly a regular issue
