(x) Anglo-Scandinavian coinage (c.955-1020), Penny, 2.16g, 'Long Cross' type with bust left in the name of Aethelred, 'Idei, Brieme', + aedelred rex ac, draped bust right, rev. + bri eme ani dei, voided long cross, square at centre instead of pellet (Malmer 178 (chain 105), 1115 3 (4)- link), obverse good very fine, reverse with flan flaws, the combination of dies not recorded by Malmer, adding the 3 (4)- link to chain 105
