(x) Anglo-Scandinavian, Sigtuna coinage (c.995-c.1005), Penny, 3.46g, 'Long Cross' type with name of Aethelred, on a square flan, 'London, Asketill', edelrerd ex aio, legend begins at 7 o'clock, draped bust left, no inner circle, bust breaks legend, rev. + os .ctl mol vn·d, voided long cross (Malmer 216.616, chain 5 and CNS 9, pp 376 and 480, chain 105; SCBI 7 (Copenhagen) 1477; Stockholm BEH 2845), obverse slightly double struck at top and reverse flat in third quarter, otherwise nearly very fine, five specimens listed
