(x) Eadgar (959-975), Penny, 1.48g, Circumscription Cross type, Winchester, Aethestan, + eadgar rex ang, around small cross pattee in solid inner circle, a large pellet above the cross, rev. + æÐeztan mo pi, the s is a letter h on its side, aorund small cross pattee in solid inner circle (SCBI 20 (Mack) 809 this coin; N.749; S.1135), slightly off centre, the dies slightly deteriorated, particularly the obverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine
