1845 entire letters (2) from Halifax to Charlotte Town, one rated "9" and showing superb "halifax/paid/nova scotia" datestamp and, on reverse, P5 datestamp in brown (unusual) across join, the other (small faults) carried privately as far as Picton, summer route rated at "4½" and showing, on reverse, Picton and arrival datestamps. Also 1869 envelope from Wolfville to North River, bearing Large Queen 3c. red-brown and with despatch datestamp on face
