1870 (7 Dec.) envelope from Auckland to Charlotte Town carried on the 1st. Contract, 9th. voyage by the Wonga Wonga, bearing 1864-67 6d. red-brown pair twice cancelled with "1" duplex, showing manuscript "3" in blue crayon, handstruck "5" and, on reverse, Ottawa (17.1), St. John (23.1) and arrival (27.1) datestamps. A rare destination for Chalon franking covers. Photo
