GL small to large margins all round, tied by a superb red Maltese Cross in a vivid scarlet shade, to entire to Lincoln, dated 4 Jan. 1841, framed red "Peter-/-borough/Penny Post" and framed "No. 5" alongside, "peterborough" d.s. (with inverted "7" for "4" in the year date) on reverse; the adhesive affected by a very light vertical filing fold. Stunning appearance and scarce. Photo
