1817 (5 June) entire leter from Brighton to Messrs. Huth & Co. in London, endorsed on the reverse Bilboena, stranded at Rottingdean 5 June, 1817/J.B. Stone Agent to Lloyds, with Brighton "Traveller" datestamp and "brighton/penny post" handstamp, London arrival of 6 June on reverse. The letter is from the master of the ship and describes the circumstances surrounding the ship being driven ashore near Rottingdean. Fine. A famous and important entire.
