1883 2½d. blue, tied on 1884 (7 Jan.) wrapper to London by type 5 c.d.s. and with manuscript date in black ink, a second strike of the despatch c.d.s. alongside with large handstruck "T" and 3d in circle applied in London; the reverse with two overlapping c.d.s.; horizontal filing crease near foot. The cover originated from Grenville though was not cancelled by the "D" postmark, possibly explaining the manuscript date
