1950 (13 Apr.) blue envelope sent air mail registered to the Isle of Man bearing (on both sides of the cover) People's Post overprint $1 on unit stamp, $1.50 on $100,000 (27) and North-West People's Post $50 (3) (total $191.50) tied by Tihwa c.d.s. with the red on white registration label with printed number only and British Officially Sealed labels at each side; with Canton (6.5) and Liverpool (15.5) transit datestamps. An important combination cover, the high value People's Post stamps were required due the rapidly increasing postal rates. Photo
