1950 (23 Mar.) large brown envelope, value declared and registered to Shanghai bearing, on the reverse, Peking Views $1, $1 on unit stamp and $1.50 on $100,000 (8) tied by Tihwa c.d.s. with Shanghai arrival (12.4) and a fragment of the value declared slip (covering one of the stamps); the address side with the manuscript registration number and "60g". Paying $14 rate and the delivery time of twenty days was a vast improvement on the old system. Fine and attractive. Photo
