1950 (9 Mar.) opened-out envelope from the Post Office, registered air mail to Leipzig "via Siberia" bearing 10c. on $50,000 (5), $1 on unit stamp (5), $1.50 on $100,000 (5) and $3 on unit stamp (5) tied by Tihwa c.d.s. with fragments of the registration slip and Leipzig arrival (4.4). The stamps pay $28 which give an indication of the level of inflation at that time. Photo
