1949 (25 Oct.) envelope registered to Weinan in Shansi province bearing, on the reverse, Silver Yuan 1c. on $100 (2), 3c. on $200 and 5c. on $500 plus "People's Post" handstamp on 10c. on $20,000 tied by Tihwa c.d.s. along with a fine strike of the large handstamp "sinkiang provisional people's post tihwa" in red (used on letters bearing the unoverprinted nationalist stamps) with the remainder of the registration slip alongside; the address side with another, fine strike of the special red handstamp and Lanchow arrival (9.11). Paying the postage rate of 5c. plus registration 15c.
