First Regular Flight: Shanghai - Tihwa Line
1932 (15 Dec.) envelope to Tihwa bearing second Peking print 4c., 15c. and 50c. tied by Shanghai c.d.s. and is marked "First Air Mail Shanghai - Tihwa" and, on the reverse, Tihwa arrival (5.6); vertical folding crease. For some reason this letter was not put on the inaugural flight, however, no subsequent flights were scheduled because of the Tungan rebellion. This was eventually carried to Tihwa on the resumed air mail service some six months later. Correctly paying 9c. postage and 60c. airmail. Photo
