1940 (7 Mar.) undenominated postal stationery envelope registered to Tihwa Telegram Office bearing Martyrs 13c. tied by Tahcheng dotted c.d.s. and shows the manuscript registration number, Tahcheng c.d.s. in purple for censorship, and, on the reverse, part of the registration slip and a fine strike of the seal of the Tahcheng Telegram Office in red. The front of the cover is marked that it included three items. Due to the general unrest at this time, it is quite possible that the telegraph lines were down and messages despatched by post.
