1942 (29 Oct.) opened-out envelope registered to Tihwa bearing Japanese Occupation 1c., 3c., 8c. and 30c. tied by Canton c.d.s. the despatch c.d.s. on the reverse (30.10), with Chungking transit c.d.s. (21.11) and Tihwa arrival (2.1) in purple to indicate censorship. With large censor seal applied in Chungking and with part of the registration slip remaining. A good cover from the occupied Japanese territory; only a limited amount of mail crossed the lines. Pays 16c. postage and 26c. registration. Photo
