1935 (23 Nov.) a large local government envelope registered to Tihwa bearing 1916-19 13c. tied by Shufu (Kashgar) Chinese/English dotted circle datestamp and bearing part of the registration receipt showing the registration number in manuscript, with additional Shufu c.d.s. in red and Tihwa c.d.s. in red, both used to indicate censorship; the arrival c.d.s. (16.12) is on the reverse. A very appealing cover addressed in Uyghurian script and Chinese paying 5c. postage and 8c. registration. Photo
